Legacy

Family

"El Patrimonio no es un pasivo de la nostalgia, Sino un Activo de la Memoria"

As the family of master Gustavo Enrique Bautista López, we have taken on the task of giving long life to his work, of which we are a part. The profound respect and appreciation we have for our master, colleague, father, and friend, provide us with the opportunity to bet on the rescue of Colombia's collective memory, through the exaltation of his work.

To continue the legacy provided by the teacher, we have carried out different initiatives that involve the search for dissemination, preservation, and recognition of Colombian art through the strengthening of the creative industry Correo del Arte, founded by Gustavo. Also, continuing his teachings by giving life and strength to artistic projects of various kinds, monumental and experiential, articulated with knowledge of a continued search for the construction of cultural memory, such as ecology and ancestral practices that have been woven throughout the history of our country.

Thus, the management of elements such as intellectual property acquires a condition that sheds light on our bets, mixing the respect and responsibility that is acquired when assuming the management of his work, with an authentic search to give art in Colombia the role and relevance it deserves and that become necessary for the construction of a collective memory of the country.

BOSQUEJO

MONUMENTAL ART PROJECT

LandArt

"Bosquejo" is a monumental art project located initially in Somondoco (Boyacá), which connects knowledge, artistic, cultural, agroecological, and social practices to bring forth a living, ecological, and community-based monumental work that is constantly under construction and transformation. It involves the interaction of ecosystems and human beings from different parts of the world. We start from the idea of art as an unfinished construction, a narrative that transforms alongside our realities. The project is a long-term intervention that turns the space into a constantly evolving canvas, where brushstrokes are made through the planting of native trees of different species, providing an immersive experience for its visitors. This, combined with agroforestry practices, endows the space with visually captivating, pulsating, and liberating aesthetics and forms. It is a work of perpetual construction, a reflection of life itself—dynamic and constantly changing, with blooms and droughts, always in evolutionary growth.
