As the family of Master Gustavo Enrique Bautista López, we have taken on the task of giving long life to his work — a legacy of which we are an integral part. The profound respect and admiration we hold for our teacher, companion, father, and friend give us the opportunity to contribute to the recovery of Colombia’s collective memory through the celebration of his art. 

Para continuar el legado brindado por el maestro, hemos llevado a cabo distintas iniciativas, que pasan por la búsqueda de difusión, preservación y reconocimiento del arte colombiano por medio del fortalecimiento de la industria creativa Correo del Arte, fundada por Gustavo. También, dando continuación a sus aprendizajes dando vida y fuerza a proyectos artísticos de distintas índoles, monumentales y experienciales, articuladas a saberes de una continuada búsqueda de la construcción de una memoria cultural, como lo es la ecología y las prácticas ancestrales que se han venido tejiendo a lo largo de la historia de nuestro país.

In this way, the management of elements such as intellectual property acquires a guiding role in our efforts, combining the respect and responsibility involved in stewarding his body of work with an authentic pursuit to give art in Colombia the place and significance it deserves — essential for the ongoing construction of our country’s collective memory.
